CODEX Exchange has a variety of different tools that allow traders to perform well. But sometimes new users need a short overview on how all things can be used effectively towards trading.
That’s the navigation section where you can view trading reports, check and choose markets, participate in Affiliate Program, check your Balance, modify your account settings and others.
We’ll start with the Trading Chart that allows you to track cryptocurrencies prices, use drawing tools for technical analysis which can be found on the left side from the price chart. On the top toolbar, you can set the time interval, bars type, and specific chart properties.
Right below the trading chart is the order book which contains different orders placed in the specific price range. The highlighted green section represents buy (bid) orders, and the red one shows sell (ask) orders. At the very bottom of the order book, you can find the highest order amount both for bid and ask. You can also set the number of decimals (0-1) that hides small orders and combines them into chunks.
"My Orders" section indicates orders that can be Active, Filled or Cancelled. Active orders are unfilled orders that wait for execution. Filled orders are those who were successfully executed. And canceled orders are orders that were canceled by an individual, followed by their decision based on the market movement.
Corresponding sections inside show such parameters like the order type (Limit, Market, Stop, Stop Limit, Scaled), action(buy or sell), amount, price, stop (adjusted price where an order has to be executed), and corresponding order amount in USDT. If you are in urge to cancel all orders at once, there’s a useful function in the top right corner of the section, which allows you to Cancel all orders simultaneously.
At the top of the section, you can check the current pair price, 24h price change history, and volume. Instruments section allows you to choose the desired trading pair, analyze price and volume parameters and search for the specific trading pair.
If you’d like to place an order choose one of the available order types (Limit, Market, Stop, Stop Limit, Scaled), and if you are buying cryptocurrency set the price, amount to buy, and the system will calculate ‘Total to spend.’ It also works vice versa, when you set first the "Total to spend" and it calculates the amount you will buy. The same principle applies to the sell orders.
Simply put, this section allows you to track all previous market trades in a specific range, as well as yours which can be found in ‘My trades’ subsection. It’s important to note that personal Trade History is different for various trading pairs.
